Chaplins bar on Hawkins street (across from the screen cinema) has a certain charm that isn’t recreated in other dublin pubs. Some of their seats are unintentionally like thrones and give you a feeling of superiority. The again, if you know about Chaplins when others don’t, you have cause to feel superior! It’s a fantastic pub that is changing itself to keep up with customers demands. They now serve pizzas to keep you from dying of hunger, and have a craft beer or two on tap and in bottles. Their upstairs function room could probably seat 30 and stand many more. Ideal for pub quizzes, meetings, or general functions.
