post-title Crawdaddy

Crawdaddy has closed. We’ll keep you informed if it reopens soon.

Crawdaddy opened its doors in 2004 with the aim of providing Dublin with a live venue to be truly proud of, a place where music is the foremost consideration and artists were treated with due respect by a committed team of engineers, bookers and venue staff.

Offering a home for almost every genre under the sun, Crawdaddy has been privileged to host such an eclectic mix of artists, encompassing the very finest in indie, dance, rock, electro, folk, funk, hip-hop, reggae, world, soul, comedy and spoken word. It has just been nominated in the best Dublin venue in the annual IMRO Awards for 2009, one of only five Dublin venues nominated and the only one with capacity less than 400.

With a 300 capacity spread across two floors including reserved tiered balcony seating, CrawDaddy also boasts the finest sound, lighting and artist facilities.

International acts that Crawdaddy has provided a platform for Irish debuts by acts include Florence & the Machine, Klaxons, LCD Soundsystem, Adele, James Blunt and Seasick Steve to name a few.

The adjacent Chocolate Bar beside Crawdaddy is open from 5pm for pre and post show beers, cocktails or coffees. Crawdaddy is available for private hire; suitable for corporate presentations, product launches, private parties or any style of live show.
