We reopened December 2012 under new ownership and management. We would describe ourselves as A Gastro pub. We serve restaurant quality food at pub prices, 7 days a week, all cooked a la carte 12-9pm. Open normal bar hours serving barrista coffees and homemade pastries every morning. We have a wide range of excellent wines, served by the glass or bottle. House wine priced at €4.95 a glass. We host a range of over 40 international and craft beers. We have live music every weekend. Fri and Sat nights from 10pm with a jazz and blues feel. We do a Sunday jazz session every week from 7-9pm. And an open trad session by the fire every Monday night from 9.30pm. Our current weekday lunch special runs mon-fri for €8.95 with a free tea or coffee. We cater for all dietary requirements, vegetarian, coeliac ect. We offer finger food and platter options for group bookings. We have the largest beer garden in the area.
