This Friday, at a currently secret Dublin 7 location, a banquet in the theme of Game of Thrones will take place. It’s brought to you by the general manager of L. Mulligan Grocer, who are renowned for their excellent food and drinks knowledge.
So, what’s involved in a Game of Thrones banquet? Here’s their description:
The Banquet will offer up many of George RR’s favourite delights. We intend to feast like lords & nobles, from the meat eaters and ale sluggers of the north, the rich spicy diets of Dornish princes to the opulent diet of wine drenched Kings Landing most rich and powerful. Game Pie, Duck Sausage, Bowl of Brown, Hard Cheeses, Stallion Heart, Lamprey, Sisters Stew, Lemon Cake and Custard.
You’re encouraged to come dressed as your favourite character or to display the sigil of your favourite house. Of course, we’ve got our own sigil prepared.
