Some of these pubs are giving away pints if you predict the correct score, some for being a man or woman, and some are just based on turning up early. For big tournaments like these, Heineken and Carlsberg will be giving pubs a lot of free kegs. That means that a few hundred of you will be getting some freebies over the tournament. There’s another reason to hope we stay in longer.
McGowans
For every goal in McGowans they’re giving away free beer. Every time the underdog scores, men get a free pint. Every time the favourite scores, women get a free pint. You have to get a stamp and arrive before the start of the game. The free pints are Heineken and Bulmers flavours bottles.
So, for this game we’re guessing Ireland are the underdogs, and it’s the men who will benefit if Ireland score.

Davy Byrnes
If you buy a pint of Heineken in Davy Byrnes you’ll get a yellow or red card. The next time there’s an Ireland match on and you’re in there, you get a free pint of Heineken with your yellow card if Ireland score in the first half, or a free pint with your red card if Ireland score in the second half. At least that’s our understanding of it.
