The Bachelor Inn on bachelors walk, a favourite among tourists looking for a drink and a bite to eat in the heart of the city has a new dining room upstairs to expand their capacity and offer more to customers.
If you get a seat beside the window you might be able to peek at a nice view over the Liffey.
Their focus appears to be on their steak offerings, which look really large and filling. Their sister bar, The Lotts, has had great success with an amazing value steak on the stone deal, and The Bachelor Inn are following suit. They offer 2 steaks and sides, tea or coffee, with a bottle of wine midweek (Sun-Wed) for €35. The same deal goes for €40 at the weekend.
Their upstairs dining room has undergone a transformation from a pub function room at the end of last year and it’s looking great. They’ve obviously seen the explosion in success of pubs offering more casual dining options in recent years. The Teller room in The Bankers on Dame lane has been doing great since it opened, and it’s obviously what the public are looking for.
