Following on from the success of the fresh oyster bar in their sister bar, Ryans of Parkgate street, the Bull and Castle in Christchurch has followed suit and installed their own one.
It’s a very welcome trend in Dublin pubs that oysters are becoming a more regular sight to see on menus as a fresh snack option. They’re sourced from Carlingford and are available for €2.20 each and are best served with a pint of stout.
They’ve also added a new kitchen area upstairs in the butchers bar from which they’ll be serving fries, burgers, wings, cheese, salads, and of course, oysters.
