Apparently it’s World Tapas Day! If you say so. Ryan’s on Parkgate Street are one of the pubs that will definitely be celebrating it.
One of their suggestions is suckling pork belly, beetroot, and apple puree. Have a look at that photo and salivate. It comes served in a cast iron skillet, which is a nice presentation touch.
They have a full tapas menu, including black pudding croquettes, cod fingers, buffalo chicken wings, and cheese selections. They also have an oyster bar, so you could add a few of those in too.
What makes it an even better experience is that get to eat all of this (should you choose to do so) in a stunning Victorian era pub. Bonus points if you get one of their two snugs.
