On Wednesday of this week we took a stroll across Dublin from Dominick Street in the north to St. Stephen’s Green in the south. Our purpose was to photograph and highlight all of the pubs along the route of the new Luas line that have been obscured for the last few months owing to the construction work. We thought it was only fair that we give them a shout out and let people know that their fantastic facades are once again visible.
There are some pubs along the route that opened more recently (like Piper’s Corner on Marlborough Street) that haven’t really been affected by the works to the degree that the others have (like Thomas O’Brennan’s on Dominick Street).
So, here’s all of the 16 #LuasPubs that we documented.
Today we’re walking the new Luas route taking photos of pubs that have been obscured for months. Its good to see them again! #LuasPubs
