Halloween parties in Dublin

Here’s your guide to fancy dress Halloween parties in Dublin pubs and bars.

Grafton Lounge– Sunday Shoutin becomes Sunday Screamin! They also have other events, including on the day itself.

 

 JW Sweetman– DJs from 9.30, €5 entry. Tickets available from Tickets.ie

Generator– Generator seem to be going for something different and describe their Halloween party on Thursday 31st as “This once-off event will showcase the finest underground talent – in one of the most unique venues in Dublin. Generator will be transformed using cutting edge sound and lighting. The event will be streamed live worldwide on our Facebookwww.facebook.com/generatorhostels and shown in each of the other seven Generator Hostels across Europe.” You can find details at this facebook event page.

 

 Cafe en Seine– Thrills and Chills party at Cafe en Seine on October 31st includes a free cocktail and finger food on arrival. Late bar over 3 floors and a prize for best dressed.

 

The Church -will be transforming their 300 year old church into a spooky party venue for the night on the 31st. They’ll have live performers and some spooky drinks specials. €200 prize for best costume.

 

Ryans bar Christchurch– will be having their Halloween party on Saturday 26th with fancy dress and a dj until late. Their drinks specials for the night are 3 jagerbombs €10, all bottles €3.50, and 2 cocktails for €10.

 

Dandelion– will be celebrating from Wednesday 30th until Saturday with their ‘Hellraiser’ event.  Link to event.

Dtwo– will be kicking off on Friday the 25th and running every day until the end of the month. The whole venue will be decked out in a Halloween atmosphere. There will be prizes each night for best costumes and a €500 prize on bank holiday Sunday. Link to event (includes photos from last year).

 

Sin é– are transforming the whole venue with terrifying monsters and realistic special effects all weekend. Their big Halloween bash is on Sunday 27th. A bottle of vodka for the best costume.

 Bad Bobs– will be celebrating over 4 floors on Sunday the 27th. There will be prizes for best dressed.

 

Buck Whaleys– will be holding a Halloween ball on Sunday the 27th. They will be giving away €1,00 worth of prizes on the night.

Harrys on the Green– have prizes for best dressed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

 

Pygmalion -will be celebrating with the resident abstract DJs and a €500 prize for best dressed.

 

Play Nightclub– will be kicking off from 10pm with drink specials from €3 and 2 witches brew for €10.

 

The Black Door- is open from 5pm and they’ll be giving away a free glass of bubbly for the first 100 people through the door.

 

Copan- in Rathmines have 2 cocktails for €6 from 5-12 and have €1000 worth of prizes up for grabs.

Beerhouse- are giving you the opportunity to carve your own pumpkin from 12-8. Sure you might as well try one of their pumpkin ales too while you’re at it.
