We’re always interested to see what pubs and bars have the most twitter followers, who is punching above their weight, and who is making the biggest gains.
It looks like the average for a pub is between 1000-2000 followers, but some don’t post all that often. The ones in excess of 10,000 followers are some of the bigger late night spots in the city and have a bit more of a budget to spend on social media, and also would likely have a younger clientele.
You can see more than just the top 20 by changing the ‘Show ’20’ entries’ to ‘Show All’. You can also search for a pub by typing in the search box at the top of the table.
A lot of pubs have multiple twitter accounts going back a few years, so there may be one or two instances of duplication, but we think it’s pretty accurate. If we have missed any, please email us at publinie@gmail.com
