McGowans in Phibsboro, who are no strangers to big big parties, are having a 3 day ‘Legendary’ Halloween party this weekend.
From Thursday to Saturday they’re expecting big crowds of fancy dressed revelers to arrive and try to outdo each other to win some of the €1,000 in cash prizes. There’s prizes for best costume and best themed group.
McGowans is, of course, a late bar on the Northside and a favoured spot amongst teachers and other civil servants.
They have been giving some suggestions for costumes over the last week and the photo of costumes from last year proves there’s plenty of stiff competition.
Of course, anything more than making it home with your whole costume is a bonus.
