Hot off the success of P Macs and Blackbird, the folks behind these pubs and Cassidys on Westmoreland street will be opening another new pub in the next few months.
The site for the new pub is practically next door to the existing one. The bar is currently Lafayette, and was once Reds back in the Celtic Tiger years. The second floor of the bar boasts a brilliant view over O’Connell bridge and down O’Connell street.

Since they’ve opened, both Cassidys and P Macs have won the city bar of the year award, and Blackbird is doing an excellent trade, so it’s safe so say that they’ve got a successful formula for running a bar, and we hope this new one is no different.
The new bar is yet unnamed and is due to open early September.
