There’s been a lot of closures and openings in Dublin city centre pubs of late, and the most recent one to close its doors will be The Pint on Eden quay.
The Pint has been trading along the Liffey for several years now and has played host to lots of electronic and house gigs in their upstairs venue. The downstairs was used as a regular bar, but also as an area for acoustic gigs.
In a statement posted on their facebook page today today they thanked their customers, promoters, DJs, and staff. They also clarified that the venue and terrace will remain open for the next few weeks to accommodate bookings that have already been made.
It’s unclear at the moment what will happen with the premises in the future, but it’s likely that someone will take over the management of the bar and possibly revamp it.
We’d like to wish the staff all the best in the future and thank them for the good times we had in the pub.
