What was once a tiki bar type hatch in the upstairs smoking area of the Workmans Club on the quays has been transformed into a new burger bar.
Next door in their sister pub Bison they’ve really outdone themselves with their offering of BBQ style pulled pork, ribs, and assorted meats with sides. They’re taking that kind of American style grub and bringing it next door, but in a more burgerish form.
They’ll be serving traditional style hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and bacon burgers for €5.95 and €6.95. On the side you can get onion bits, chilli fries, garlic butter fries, and regular fries for €2.95. They’ve also sundaes for desert. The diet starts never.
At this stage you’ve probably stopped reading and are just looking at the images, so here’s another one.
They’re open from 12 noon until 9.30 at night. It’s a pretty smart move on their part, considering Bison does a decent trade during the day. It keeps them ticking over nicely until the late night revelers arrive.
