In recent years, The Church on Jervis street has become the home for French people in Dublin. They supported their team in the beer garden and in the Cellar during their eventually ill fated euros campaign, and now they’re back for a bit more of a joyful event.

On the 13th and 14th of July the French community will be celebrating pre-Bastille day and Bastille day with food, music, and drinks.

On the 13th you can enjoy crepes, sausisson, and French cheese, with live Irish and French music, and giant games, all from 5pm. On the day itself there will be games of Petanque (boules) in the square beside the bar, as well as the same food, drinks, and musical entertainment. There’ll be swing music from The Swing Cats from 9.30pm.

For more details on what promises to be a great day, see the Church website.
