Pay the what? Yes, pay the clock. Oscars cafe bar in Christchurch are running a promotion on pizza that means the earlier you come in to have it, the cheaper it’ll be for you.
It’s an interesting way of luring customers just a little bit earlier, especially in January when the pubs do less business after the mayhem of December.
Here’s how their ‘Pay the time’ promotion works. You order a pizza between 6 and 9.30pm, you pay whatever the time on the clock says. If you order your pizza at 6.00pm, then it’s €6.00. You order at 8.44pm, then it’s €8.44. It’s very handy if you want to eat after work.
The bar also has a number of always running specials on G and T for €5, bottles of selected beers for €4, and more.
The promotion starts on Tuesday the 5th of January. If you want to make a booking to scoff it into your faces, you can contact them via 01 5551442 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
