To celebrate international jazz day this Saturday the 30th or April, ‘Jazz in Dublin’ will be celebrating with a mini jazz festival in a number of venues around town. Many of the venues have a tradition of showing jazz.
The festival lineup is as follows
Nearys
Charlie Mooney plays upstairs in Nearys on Chatham street from 4pm. Chatham street is located just off Grafton street. It’s free entry.
The Front Door
The Natalie Turner Trioplay The Front Door at 15 Dame street from 8pm. This is also free entry.
Avenue
Brand Nu. Fusion Feat Liza Nelson. 1 Crow street from 9pm. Admission €10.
SUNDAY
JJ Smyths
John Moriarty Trio with special guest Ciaran Wilde (sax). 4.30pm, €10.
