Say hello to Idlewild, Fade street’s newest bar. It’s brought to you by the same people that run The Market Bar on the same street and The Chelsea Drugstore around the corner on George’s street.
The bar was at one point going to be called Tod Hunter Pims, but another bar JT Pims opened around the corner. It would probably have caused too much confusion to have two pubs so close with such a similar name.
We don’t have too many details about this place, but it’sfair to say that we can probably expect the same quality offering of cocktails from Idlewild’s sister bars. As with all bars, it takes a few weeks to find their feet and to settle in, so we’re looking forward to seeing how it pans out for them.
The bar will be open from 5pm today (Friday 27th May). So, if you’re looking for somewhere extremely new to try out, here’s your opportunity to be one of the first customers in Dublin’s newest bar.
