The good folks at Foleys bar on Merrion Row have resolved to do you all a favour and screen Game of Thrones in the pub. They’ll be showing the first episode on Monday the 25th of April.
They’re making a night (‘s watch) of it and will be putting on a GOT themed quiz too. Insert joke about Jon Snow knowing nothing.
There will be drink specials on the night and the food in Foleys looks really good too. Some might be skeptical about watching their favourite show in a pub, but as long as its turned up loud and the people there are as respectful as you are, then it could well be a really good night. Add to that the fact that someone will give you drinks and food, and you’re golden.
The 1st floor function room.
They had a very successful and well attended Harry Potter quiz here before. Does that make it the best fantasy bar in Dublin? Does such a thing exist? It might now.
We’re assuming (and will clarify this) that the night will be held in their 1st floor function room, which is a really nice space. The quiz starts at 7 and the episode is screened at 9.
