The Long Hall took home the honours at the recent Irish Restaurant Awards at The Clayton Hotel in Dublin on Monday. They were named the ‘Dublin pub of the year’, beating out stiff competition.
The award was received by owner, Marcus Houlihan. He claimed it on behalf of “all of our winning team”. Marcus places heavy emphasis on the team effort in The Long Hall, and the pride that is felt for the pub is held in common. Marcus reiterated this fact at last years event commemorating 250 years of the pubs existence.
Delighted to accept this award on behalf of all our winning team. Full credit to them. Slainte! https://t.co/XBqS92rbZg

The pub is well deserving of the award, loved as it is by practically anyone who sets foot in it.
The Exchequer picked up the award for ‘Best Gastro Pub’ at the ceremony.
