For such a small pub, The Barbers in Grangegorman sure do put an an awful lot of events! They do a lot of live music and have even dipped their toes in magic recently. Now they’re starting a weekly Womens Night every Tuesday.
They’re billing it as ‘A social evening for women and friends who may be seeking friendship, a relationship or just a good old chat along with live music, poetry, games, comedy and more. Each week we will add something new and you never know open mic too.‘
So, it seems to be a lot more laid back and relaxed to your average event targeting women. Usually women’s or ladies night would be all about the cocktails and dancing, but in true Barbers fashion, they’re going for something new and a bit more mid week friendly.
It sure sounds like something worth trying. We know that a lot of our female friends really like the place. Then again, so do our male friends. The €5 gin and tonics and other spirits with mixers for the same price can’t hurt.
