There’s only 6 bottles left of The Long Hall’s very exclusive whiskey.

2 years ago The Long Hall celebrated 250 years in the trade. That makes them older than Jameson and Powers and also means they’ve likely been selling those drinks for most of the existence of both.

To celebrate the Long Hall’s birthday and to mark the connection between pub and distiller, Powers created a special blend whiskey just for the occasion that would only be sold in the pub. By chance, the barrel yielded 252 bottles. One for each year of the pub’s existence, and another 2 to open for sampling on the birthday celebration night.

2 years have rolled on and they’re coming to the end of their supplies. They’ve been selling them by the bottle and also by the measure in the pub for those that want a taste but don’t want to commit to a full bottle.

For anyone looking to add to their whiskey collection or just to get their hands on a little piece of Dublin pub history, then this might be a good opportunity. While it’s value has been increasing the more bottles are sold and drank, the price has remained the same, making this a better investment by the day.

So don’t delay, drop into The Long Hall today and get yourselves a bottle. They’re €250 if memory serves me correctly and are presented in a special Long Hall box as well.
