The Swan on Aungier Street is one of those Dublin pubs famed for its natural ambience created by the sound of dozens of concurrent conversations. No piped in music, only chats.
With all that said, it might surprise you to hear that they have a weekly Sunday trad session. It takes place in the old snug area at the front of the bar, usually with 2 musicians playing unamplified.
It’s a nice setting to wind down the weekend, have those last few pints before resetting for another week of work.
The session kicks off at 6.30pm, so grab a bit of grub before and then make your way down for a relaxing scoop with music.
