Devitts on Camden Street has always been a big destination for GAA fans who want to watch a match or who come over from the Northside after watching a match in Croker. Knowing their audience, they got a special ‘5 in a row’ pint glass made up.
Pints taste extra special out of a chalice commemorating a historic sporting feat never before seen in Ireland. It may prove to be a bit of a collectors item in years to come as no doubt there are a limited amount in circulation now. We’ll certainly be nipping down soon to see if there’s any for our collection (to be displayed and not used of course).
The engraving on the glass has the classic Guinness logo followed by ‘Dublin’s 5 in a row @ Devitts’. Here’s hoping they’ll have to sequel this pint glass next year with another engraving.
