Some bars are really good at catering for large groups, parties, and work groups. Lemon and Duke on Hibernian Way is one such bar.

Part of any good work night out is a bit of food to nibble on and the platters available in Lemon and Duke are among the best we’ve come across in the city. It goes without saying that what’s on offer is not your typical mini cocktail sausages and garlic battered mushrooms! Their starter platter consists of Hoisin Chicken Wings With Honey And Pickled Ginger Dip, Sea Salt And Orange Pepper Calamari, Miniature Burger With Burnt Onion Aioli, Babyback Ribs With Kecap Manis, and Mini Falafel With Sriracha Aioli.
The bar itself is a really elegant and modern space to throw a bit of a bash, catering for any event with premium spirits, cocktails, beers (including Pilsner Urquell poured from the tank above the bar), and of course, gin and tonics which they specialise in.

Indeed, if you’re looking for an event with a bit of an activity involved, Lemon and Duke can organise gin or cocktail making classes where you learn to make 3 cocktails or learn about 3 gins. This is more of a daytime pursuit but it might suit you if you’re planning on taking off from work early.
One area that is available to book for groups of up to 50 people is ‘The Snug’, an area to the left of the bar that offers a degree of privacy and has some seating. It’s also attached to the smoking area to people can go outside as they like.
Food, drinks, and ambience are all boxes ticket for this venue. If you want to see more, take a look at their website.
