A lot of pubs are going to lengths to provide some sort of food options to patrons, even if it’s just a toastie. It’s better than punters leaving and going elsewhere when they’re feeling a bit peckish.
3 Stoneybatter pubs are responding to the increased demand for food in pubs and are teaming up with local businesses and food trucks to give a wider range of culinary options.
The Glimmerman
The Glimmerman have a Vietnamese food truck called ‘Vietnom’ from Thursday to Sunday in the beer garden. They offer vegetarian Vietnamese food like Banh Mi and salads. It’s good grub and definitely not something yuo would associate with the Glimmerman, but it seems to be going well for them.
Kavanaghs
Kavanaghs have teamed up with local business ‘Cotto’ and ‘Chilli Shack’ to offer a selection of their foods in the pub from 5-9pm. Burgers, pizzas, and wings are on the menu.
The Belfry
The Belfry are making use of the outdoor area to the side of the pub with 2 food trucks. From Monday to Wednesday there’s a taco truck serving meat and veggie tacos, and Thursday to Sunday there’s pizza from Village Pizza.
